In recent years, non-viral methods for cell engineering have emerged as promising alternatives to viral transduction. Amongst the virus-free technologies, electroporation is considered the gold standard, with an increasing presence in clinical trials. For its large scale Nucleofector® Platform, Lonza has developed an improved cartridge for the electroporation of clinically-relevant cargos into large volumes of T cells. The optimal cell handling parameters were developed using small scale reactions and then adapted for the new large-scale cartridge to easily transfect 1 billion cells.
Join Dr. Stefanie Muethel (Lonza) and Dr. Jessica Fiege (Bio-Techne) at our free Webinar on Tuesday, 24 June 2025 to learn about:
- Reliable, robust and efficient delivery of large, complex, clinically relevant cargos for CRISPR knock-out/ knock-in or transposon-based integration, e.g. with TcBuster™
- Easy scale up of the cell engineering process to 1 billion T cells
- The versatility of the setup in terms of process parameters, starting material and cargo type
- How to maximize gene delivery efficiency with low copy number, while helping ensure robust fold expansion, viability, and scalability using the TcBusterTM transposon system
The webinar includes a Q&A session and will last approximately 30 minutes.
